Encore Income Insider ("we," "us," or "our") is a newsletter published by Scott Fulbright for corporate managers and directors exploring income from their professional expertise. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
When you subscribe to the newsletter. We collect your email address and any details you choose to share, such as your name. Our newsletter platform, beehiiv, also records whether you open our emails and which links you click.
When you take one of our surveys. We collect your answers. If you reached the survey through a personal invitation link, your answers are connected to that invitation by a reference code. We use this to understand readers' interests and to avoid sending you unnecessary reminders. Our surveys are hosted by Tally.
When we contact you by email for the first time. We may contact professionals using publicly available business contact information, such as a name, job title, company, and work email address, obtained from business data providers. We use this information only to invite you to take part in our survey or to learn about our newsletter.
When you visit our website. Our website, hosted by beehiiv, may use cookies and similar tools to keep the site working and to measure visits.
We use your information to send you the newsletter if you subscribed, understand which topics are most useful to our readers, follow up on a survey invitation (and stop once you respond or ask us to stop), improve our content and website, and meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
We use a small number of service providers to run the newsletter and surveys, including beehiiv (newsletter and website), Tally (surveys), and our email-sending and verification tools. They process information on our behalf and only as needed to provide their services. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
We keep subscriber information while you are subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we stop emailing you and may keep a record of your email address so we honor that request. Survey answers and outreach records are kept only as long as they are useful for the purposes above.
Unsubscribe anytime using the link at the bottom of every email.
Stop outreach emails by replying "remove" or using the opt-out link in the email, and we will not contact you again.
Access, correct, or delete your information by emailing us at [email protected]. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or California's privacy laws, and we will honor those requests.
Our newsletter is intended for working professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top.
